New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern calls on governments to ban free speech

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern told the United Nations she wants governments to censor the internet.

Last year, Ardern said any information people seek regarding COVID-19 and vaccines should be directly from her government and no one else.  “We will continue to be your single source of truth. We will provide information frequently. Everything else you see, a grain of salt.”

“Unless you hear it from us, it is not the truth,” she added.

[For those who don’t remember, Jacinda Ardern had police confiscate firearms from all law abiding New Zealand citizens after a foreigner from Australia shot and killed Muslims at two mosques in Christ Church.  She criminalized possession of the video of the mosque shootings and possession of the manifesto of the alleged mosque shooter.  The video appeared as if it was from a video game and the PM clearly wanted it banned before it could face public scrutiny.]
