On October 5th, Keith Woods new documentary “The
Migrants are Coming” premiered on YouTube and
other platforms. On the 7th, the video was
removed from YouTube, and the Europa channel that
hosted it was banned. Fortunately, you can still
watch and share this documentary on X, and I highly recommend it.

“The Migrants Are Coming” was filmed earlier this
year, lasts 75 minutes, and focuses on two rising
national-populist political parties: Alternative
for Deutschland in Germany and Konfederacja in
Poland, as well as related groups. The first 17
minutes of the film focus on Germany, the last 58 minutes on Poland.

The film could just as well be called “The Nationalists Are
Coming,” because it focuses less on migrants than
it does on the inevitable reaction to mass
non-white migration: namely the rise of national
populism. Woods presents the essential statistics
on how many migrants there are and the negative
consequences they bring, primarily crime and cultural erasure…

From a technical point of view, The Migrants are
Coming is well-filmed, edited, and paced, with
well-chosen music and a nice mix of interviews,
commentary, and narration. He chooses
particularly beautiful settings, especially in
Potsdam, Germany. Germany’s greatness is
communicated by shots of beautiful historic
buildings from a distance. Her fall is
communicated by shots of the same buildings
close-up, in which we see graffiti, litter, and homeless people.
