Musk agrees to help Ukrainian government

Elon Musk has claimed that SpaceX-operated Starlink satellite internet constellation now “active” in Ukraine

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk claimed on Saturday that his satellite internet program Starlink now covers Ukraine after a request for aid from the country’s Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

Fedorov had published an open letter to Musk on Saturday, which read, “While you try to colonize Mars — Russia try to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space — Russian rockets attack Ukrainian civil people!”

“We ask you to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and to address sane Russians to stand,” the vice prime minister requested.

Musk soon accepted the request, tweeting, “Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route,” and was thanked by the country for his decision.
