Itamar Ben-Gvir comments appear to be a response to reports that Andy Burnham’s government will announce new sanctions on Israeli West Bank settlements

Israeli Minister has claimed the Falkland Islands are ‘Argentine territory under occupation’ and called for ‘sanctions’ against the UK.

Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s minister for national security, made the claims in a social media post late on Monday evening (September 7). His comments were issued just hours after it became public knowledge that the UK government is due to announce new sanctions on Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
