Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution states that “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.”
The federal government is in breach of its contractual obligations under our Constitution. (A compact between sovereign states.)
Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls issued an emergency proclamation on Thursday in response to an unprecedented number of [invaders] entering the city. Nicholls asserts the influx is overwhelming federal authorities and creating a humanitarian crisis.
In a Thursday press release, the mayor says federal personnel are struggling (sic) to manage the flow of [invaders] into the community and at official facilities. According to Nichols, there have been reports of more than 6,000 [invaders] attempting to travel through the Yuma area.
