It is to be feared that the Americans will launch a ground invasion of Iran. Before the attack on Iran, I would have bet a lot of money that the Americans would not commit such madness. I thought my dear friend Scott Ritter was exaggerating. He was right and I was wrong. Scott also foresees an attack this time – and then a bloodbath. His track record is better than mine, so I’d better keep quiet.

Israel, which now faces three adversaries, is on the brink of collapse. The invasion of Lebanon has not only turned out to be a complete fiasco, as it did in 2006, but it is foreseeable that Hezbollah’s formidable forces will likely advance into northern Israel. That in itself is already a disaster. As we have reported, cracks are already appearing in the Israeli army and collapse seems imminent; genocide and war are simply two entirely different fields of operation. In war, the enemy fires back – something Israeli soldiers are not accustomed to. Now the Houthis are joining the fray, having been battle-hardened for ten years. Iranian missiles have a free pass into Israel – the Iron Dome defence system has been decimated by 80 per cent, and cities in Israel are now getting a taste of what cities like Beirut or Damascus – not to mention Gaza and Ramallah – have had to endure from Israel for decades. This naturally also has an impact on the morale of the Israelis, whose whining about their own suffering is getting on the nerves of more and more people – increasingly in the West too – because: who started the war, nota bene with the bombing of a girls’ school and hospitals?
