shameless partisanship, companies like the Keg restaurant chain, Smirnoff, Tim Horton’s and a myriad of others are carrying
the ball for the government open borders agenda.

always worth celebrating. And right now, Canada stands as a shining example of openness in a world that is increasingly feeling
the opposite. So we raised a glass with real Canadian immigrants and citizens who shared why they’re proud to call Canada
The Canadian Football league launched a campaign in August
on the heels of the Charlottesville incident to make the same point, the point that ours is an exceptional country, that
Canada and what it represents is the antithesis of the bigotry and racism we see south of the border. Viewers are told that
the CFL is “a league as diverse as the country, a league which makes each of us different makes all of us strong.”
What is apparent after viewing one of these impactful commercials
is that the admen have mastered the art of story- telling. Consummate marketers are great story-tellers. They
build narratives around products---or brands-- that we can quickly grasp at a simple emotional level. Tim Horton’s
“Proud Fathers” is a masterpiece in that regard.
The ad features a Chinese father and son at a hockey rink where the father came to see his
grandson play hockey. “Grandad” told his adult son that his grandson plays hockey better than his father did.
“How would you know”, the son asked. “I watched you play”, replied “Grandad”. “Oh,
then what team did I play for?” The question prompted the old man to pull a picture of his son’s team with his
son featured on it. Seeing this, the son became emotional, and no doubt viewers did too. It really pulls heartstrings.
The message was about continuity. Not only the continuity between generations,
but the continuity of Canadian tradition and culture as represented by our love of this game, which despite the upheavals
of mass third world immigration, endures..The hope and expectation is that old stock Canadians will watch this
commercial and conclude, “See, these people are just like you and me. They play and appreciate our national
sport of hockey. And they like the brand of coffee made by Tim Horton’s, which as we know is Canadians’ favourite
coffee. Part of our Canadian identity.”
It depicts the tearful and joyous reunion between a black South African immigrant with his just arrived
wife and kids at the airport. We follow the man, speaking in a mixture of Xhosa and heavily accented English, from his apartment
to the store to the airport, where he embraces his family and covers their traditional clothing up in good old Canadian winter
garb. And in clinching gesture, we see him hand his wife a cup of Tim Horton’s. If you didn’t have tears running
down your cheeks by then you were not a real Canadian. And if you didn’t get the message then you don’t
accept Canadian “values”, the values of family and multiculturalism, which go together like a horse and carriage. New
Canadians are Canadians. They are as Canadian as maple syrup. As Canadian as Tim Horton’s.

Trump’s “Muslim” travel ban and designed to serve as a reminder that America was built by hard working men

to the road with her young daughter to make a long arduous trek to the Promised Land in search of work, only to come face
to face with a massive and imposing Trumpian wall that looks as if it is constructed with lumber. Viewers can feel their devastation.
My breaking point came when the little girl pulled out a small shredded American flag from her backpack. Oh, God!
But then miracle of miracles, they see a door, and they open it. Voila! They’re in the Land of the Free and the Home
of the Undocumented! But they must keep walking. Alas, along comes a good hearted American guy in a pickup truck
to take them on board. The ad concludes with a bumper sticker slogan. “The Will To Succeed is Always Welcome Here.”
The fact that the ad was sponsored by a construction supply company “84 Lumber” at the cost of $10 million per
minute was not lost on many viewers. The home construction industry relies heavily upon cheap illegal immigrant
Finally, I can’t let you go with asking you to look at Apple’s ad titled “The Human Family”.

These pro-diversity ads are historically significant. They reflect an advanced
stage of globalism, picking up steam as it hurtles toward the cliff. They are symbolic of the merger of corporations and government,
which was the hallmark of classic fascism, but this time it is a fascism that is subversive of the nation state.

The Canada that they want us to feel patriotic about
is not the Canada of our fathers or grandfathers. It is not a bicultural nation of two founding peoples but a microcosm of

see at YVR or YYZ airports will soon be identical to the Canada we see in every city, town and hamlet across the country.

A Virginia high school decided Thursday to drop three letters in its name to disconnect it
from a Confederate general.
The Fairfax County School Board voted 6-5 to rename
J.E.B. Stuart High School, named after Confederate general and slave-owner J.E.B. Stuart, by dropping "J.E.B.,"
according to NBC Washinton. The decision not to adopt a new name entirely reduces the price of the name change, reported Burke
A petition by producer Bruce Cohen and actress Julianne Moore, both Stuart
alumni, requested that the school rename itself after Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and obtained over 35,000 signatures.
"This is obviously one of the deepest issues this board or any board in the nation can face,"
said Scott Brabrand, Fairfax County Public Schools superintendent during a previous July meeting on the decision, according

I think many of us find it especially difficult to imagine how this country is going to look
once the demographics turn against us irreversibly - it's understandably hard to visualize something that has never occurred
in living memory.
But once the Boomers start to die off (whether you like them or

That more than two-thirds of Louisiana's population in poll after poll resoundingly rejects the idea of erasing the
city's historical landmarks hasn't stopped Landrieu's two-year crusade to remove them. And following the last-ditch
court challenges of the mostly white, mostly suburban Monumental Task Force crowd seeking to preserve the statues, on Monday
the first of four came down. That one was an obelisk instituted in 1891 to mark the Battle of Liberty Place, an 1874 Gangs
Of New York-style street brawl in which the city's competing elected governments - a white supremacist Democrat regime
and a carpetbagging, corrupt and perhaps illegitimate Republican administration - fought it out on a public thoroughfare.
The Democrats won, a result which played a part in the 1876 "corrupt bargain" in which Rutherford B. Hayes was elected
president in dubious circumstances in return for the end of Reconstruction in the South.
Most in New Orleans agree that,
of the four statues in Landrieu's crosshairs, the Liberty Place monument is the least useful to defend. It celebrates
a tawdry victory by the precursor to a backward, racist, and morally vacant political era in the city - Democrats have controlled
New Orleans, to its ever-deepening degeneration, since Liberty Place - and the special price paid by the city's black
community for that ugly white regime merits a creditable argument for its removal. The Liberty Place monument isn't even
much as artwork.
But as to the other three, which as of this writing still stand, this isn't true. The statues of
Davis, Lee, and Beauregard stand as exemplars of the art of their time, and their subjects - particularly in the case of Lee
and Beauregard - belong on display in New Orleans.
Beauregard was from the next-door community of Chalmette, after all;
it was at Chalmette where the Battle of New Orleans was actually fought at the close of the War of 1812. He was a highly accomplished
soldier and engineer, and unfortunately for him a slightly less accomplished politician. After the Civil War - Beauregard
fought for the Confederacy, but it seemed he had little choice, as he was fired from his post as the superintendent at West
Point upon Louisiana's secession, and kicked out of the U.S. Army without having been asked which side he would be on
- the man ran and lost an almost unlosable campaign for mayor of New Orleans because of his pro-civil rights platform. Following
that he later designed what became the city's streetcar system. His beautiful equestrian statue is rumored to be the next
of Landrieu's targets and could be gone by the time many of our readers see this column.
Early Monday morning crews removed New Orleans' Liberty Place monument commemorating the failed rebellion of
a white supremacist militia, the first of four statues slated to be taken from their public perches.
Of the four statues,
the Liberty Place monument was largely seen as the most objectionable and Landrieu explicitly described it that way. The
monument commemorates a violent 1874 uprising by the White League, which fought and members of New Orleans’ bi-racial
police force as it ousted the state’s bi-racial Reconstruction-era government for several days before President Ulysses
S. Grant sent in federal troops.
The unannounced removal marks the beginning of the end of a debate that has
roiled the city in the nearly two years since Mayor Mitch Landrieu called for the removal of the monument to the Battle of
Liberty Place and more prominent statues of Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and P.G.T. Beauregard and Confederate President

A divided Charlottesville City Council’s decision last week to remove the statue of the Confederate general gave Stewart an opening to appeal to his base. On social media, he urged people to “defend Virginia’s heritage,”

University of London students are demanding that thinkers such as Plato, Aristotle,
Voltaire, and Immanuel Kant be banned from the philosophy syllabus... because they are white.
UK media quotes students from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies
(SOAS) as saying that "the majority of philosophers on our courses" should be from Africa and Asia.

In a town that once took considerable pride in its Confederate past, the Alexandria City Council voted unanimously Saturday
to change the name of Jefferson Davis Highway and seek permission from the Virginia General Assembly to move a renowned
statue of a Confederate soldier in historic Old Town.
